It's time for Valentine's Day and this year, Nordax Bank takes the opportunity to shine a light on gender equality in connection to the primary day of love. Brand New Story have been working close together with Nordax and the PR-company Wikberg & Frisk to create a campaign called “Heartbreak Hotel”.
According to a Novus survey commissioned by Nordax, seven out of ten Swedes have never talked to their partner about what would happen to the shared accommodation in the event of a separation. At Heartbreak Hotel, a pop-up luxury hotel in the heart of Stockholm, couples can now stress test their personal finances and find out what happens as newly divorced, which includes meetings with a mortgage expert from Nordax, a psychologist and the founders of the divorce platform Go On.
- With this campaign, we above all want to highlight the value of a gender-equal couple economy. It is hardly news that women often come out less equipped for the housing market after a divorce, says Hanna Belander, marketing manager at Nordax.
To draw attention to the campaign, the TV profile Ann Söderlund and her husband will check in to ditch each other. The campaign will run throughout February and Brand New Story is responsible for the production.
